...of broken dreams? No! Of clothes and shoes and cute little brick buildings XD
This is my entry for the contest. The theme this time around is "guilty pleasures".
I chose this subject because it's not something you'd expect of me if you saw me on the street. You wouldn't think, "now there's a girl who likes clothes"-- but it's true! I love fashion, funky clothes, and especially shoes... it's just that I rarely have the finances to buy anything really cool, and on top of that I tend to be very self-conscious. But I can dream! So there it is --my guilty pleasure.
EDIT Many many thanks to all those who voted for my piece in the contest! I'm so sorry I did not get to thank you all sooner, but I experienced some sort of bug. I did not get an alert for the journal that announced the end of the contest! How awful is that?! Please forgive me for any confusion I might have caused! I really truely love you all.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

The clothes are really cool and the idea of the picture is too.
I also don't seem like a fashion girl but I do love clothes and designs. Same reason as you though, self-conscious. >__>

There is no way in the crannies of the couch that I'm doing that.
If I could, I would make that outfit and where it around... then I'd realize how silly I looked and would be embarassed XD.
