Actually, I'm ignoring the main quest at the moment. I haven't figured out how the whole Alduin thing works into her story yet...
This is Genevieve, yet another High Rock fugitive. (Bretons FTW.) She left her homeland of her own volition to escape a life of petty crime and the slew of regrets built around it. With nothing but a dagger, a hunting bow, and her own cleverness she wanders the lands of Skyrim in search of a place to spread her roots. Eventually she finds her way to Whiterun and the halls of Jorvaskr.
Despite Kodlak's hospitality, she never feels that she could be a part of the Companions' odd little family. Part of her feels unworthy, and part of her feels she lacks skill. She is competent with bow and blade, but her true advantage comes from stealthiness and the tricks of Illusion magic. Feeling restless, she leaves the city in the dead of night and makes her way to Riften where she finds a place in the Thieves Guild. Her skills flourish within the Guild and she grows into a powerful and confident warrior.
Just as she begins to come to terms with a life outside the law, fate tugs her back to Whiterun once more. She begins to wonder if Riften was the home she was searching for after all... ------------------- photoshop, SAI, tablet. a few hours. used fractal brushes from [link] by ~above-and-beyond.
Wow, that's a beautiful Dragonborn (Bretons, ftw indeed!). I love the colouring, and the backstory too. I made a character who joined the Companions but felt uncomfortable with how they look down on sneaking and magic, in favour of bumrushing everything.
Thank you! Yeah, I pretty much used the Companions quests to build up my stealthy skills before I went to Riften. It was slightly akward. At least Farkas never complained about me sneak-attacking everything.
No problem! Heh, I didn't feel as bothered sneaking on the quest with Farkas, or even if I'd done the one with Aela, but I don't think the other Circle members would approve.
