A speed painting referenced from *Keid-89's beautiful and haunting photograph, 'a wanderer' [link] . Obviously, this is a rather different interpretation!
What you're really seeing here is a (slightly) more developed under painting. I start most of my digital/traditional portraits this way and then work more natural colors on top. This sort of highly vibrant palette really appeals to me though, so I kept it as-is. I really want to do some more portraits this way...
